The team
TGBrowse isn't a corporation. It's a small team that does this because Telegram needs a real directory.
Alex
Founder, developer, editor
Alex started TGBrowse in 2025 after spending years on Telegram and getting tired of losing track of good channels. He writes most of the code, picks which channels make it into the directory, and reviews user submissions. He's based in Europe and works on TGBrowse in the evenings. You can read his full story on the About page.
The support team
@tgbrowse_team on Telegram
A small group of moderators who answer messages on Telegram, review channel submissions, and flag spam. They're not full-time employees, they're volunteers who care about keeping the directory clean. If you message the team account, you'll usually get a reply within 24 hours.
Contributors
You, if you want to be
Most of the channels indexed on TGBrowse were suggested by users who actually use them. If you know a Telegram channel that should be on the site, you can submit it here. We also accept corrections, removal requests, and feedback. We don't pay for submissions, but we credit good contributors on our X account.
How we work
There's no office, no investors, no growth team. Decisions about the site happen in a private Telegram chat between Alex and the support team. We try to ship small improvements every week. If something breaks, we fix it the same day.
If you want to follow what we're working on, the easiest way is to follow us on X. We post updates there whenever something meaningful changes on the site.
Want to join?
We're not actively hiring, but if you're a fluent Telegram user, you know a specific niche really well, and you want to help curate that part of the directory, send us a message on Telegram. We're especially looking for people who know the Indian, Brazilian, Nigerian, and Ethiopian Telegram scenes from the inside.
