Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 May 2026. We tried to write this in plain English. If anything is unclear, ask us on Telegram.
The short version
TGBrowse doesn't require an account. We don't have a signup form. We don't sell, rent, or trade user data to anyone. The data we do collect (basic analytics, vote anti-spam protection) is described below. If you want anything we have on you to be deleted, contact us and we'll do it within 30 days.
Who runs this site
TGBrowse is operated by an independent publisher based in the European Union. For privacy questions, you can reach us at contact (at) tgbrowse (dot) com or on Telegram at @tgbrowse_team.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find the site and which pages get the most use. This includes general data like your country, device type, browser, the pages you visit, and how long you stay. We don't collect anything that personally identifies you. Google may set cookies on your device as part of this. You can opt out by using a browser that blocks trackers, or by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
Votes and reviews. When you vote on a channel or leave a review, we store the vote, your IP address hashed (not the raw IP), and a timestamp. We use this to prevent the same person from voting multiple times in the same week. We do not store your real IP address, and the hash cannot be reversed.
Submissions. If you submit a channel through the submission form, we store what you typed (channel username, category, any notes). We use this to decide whether to add the channel. We don't share this with third parties.
Server logs. Like every website, our server records basic information about every request: the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the user agent. We keep these logs for up to 30 days for security and debugging. After that they're deleted.
Cookies
TGBrowse sets one functional cookie to remember whether you've collapsed the sidebar. That's it. It expires after one year. Google Analytics may set additional cookies if you don't block them. If you'd rather not have any of this, most browsers let you block cookies entirely. The site works fine without them.
Third party services
We use three external services in total:
Google Analytics for traffic measurement. Google's privacy policy applies on top of ours.
Google Fonts in some parts of the site. Google may log your IP address when your browser loads a font. We've configured this to be as minimal as possible.
RalfyIndex to ping Google when we publish new pages. This service only receives the URL of the new page, never anything about you.
We don't use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, or any session replay tools. We don't have a chat widget. We don't run any third party ad scripts.
How long we keep things
Votes and review hashes are kept for as long as the channel exists in our directory. Server logs for 30 days. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings (currently set to 14 months). If you contact us by email or Telegram, we may keep that thread for up to 12 months in case you reach out again.
Your rights under GDPR
If you're in the EU, you have the right to ask us what data we have about you, request that we correct it, request that we delete it, or restrict how we use it. Because we don't have accounts, the only data we can really tie back to a specific person is whatever you sent us directly through Telegram, email, or the submission form. Email us at contact (at) tgbrowse (dot) com and we'll handle your request within 30 days, free of charge.
Children
Some categories on TGBrowse list adult or gambling related Telegram channels. The site is not directed at children. If you're under 18, please don't use it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post a note on our X account. For minor wording fixes we'll just update silently.
